…stopping global warming? (As if governments have the power to control the sun!)
…making socialism work? (As if whips and chains can tame the human spirit!)
…exceeding the speed of light? (As if the laws of physics can be ignored!)
…getting Jesus to raise your body from the dead when the world ends? (As if the world will end!)
Yet, billions are poured into global warming research, the schemes of socialism, religion, and science fiction.
And people think a tax-free city is impossible? That’s outrageous!

The girl, 13 year-old Anna Tomalis died (August 2008) from liver cancer, while the FDA fiddled about deciding whether to give her doctor permission to use a medicine that the government had not yet approved.
Where were the anti-abortion activists who bitch about the right to life? Where were the abortion activists who think medical decisions should be kept between a doctor and a patient? Where was Hillary Clinton who built a career as a “children’s activist?” Where was George Bush, who said he would not leave a child behind?
And on and on….
A real girl died. The next one will be yours, or a friend’s, or a friend of a friend’s.
As Nero fiddled while Rome burns, and as bureaucrats dot their i’s and cross their t’s, real people are forced into their caskets.
It’s time for an independent city state—where bureaucrats can’t snuff us out. You can make this happen.

A superficial study designed to make headlines, instead of explain things, claims that most US corporations are not paying any taxes.
Perhaps, the economy is so bad that they have nothing to pay taxes on?
“It’s shameful that so many corporations make big profits and pay nothing to support our country,” said Sen. Byron Dorgan, D-N.D., who asked for the GAO study with Sen. Carl Levin, D-Mich.
What does he do to “support” the country, except bury it in chains on exchange, one tax and one regulation upon the next? A Berlin Wall in reverse, where we build our nation into its own prison from coast to coast.
Why should individuals or their corporations be taxed at all? Fair Share? Keep the full share you earn. Help start a tax-free society at taxfreesociety.com

You tell me! You’re the taxpayer!

The Cost of Government Day falls four days later in 2008 than last year’s revised date of July 12. In 2008, the average American will have to work an additional 17 days out of the year to pay off his or her cost of government compared to 2000, when the COGD was June 29.
In fact, since 1977, COGD has fallen later than July 16 in only four of those 32 years – in 1982 and 1983, and in 1992 and 1993 (see chart above). The driving factor for this development is the fact that all components of the cost of government – federal spending, state and local spending, and regulation – are now increasing faster than national income. Who says there are tax cuts coming when state budgets nationwide are up 18% since 2005? (WSJ) An 18% increase in budgets today will be followed by an even greater increase in taxes and fees tomorrow.
Ah, but help is coming!
The good thing is that welfarism will be put to the test in Massachusetts’ Novembers 2008 election. Massachusetts has a ballot initiative to abolish the income tax and slash government spending to make up for the difference. It is a very good initiative. The public will finally get a vote to veto all the welfarism that has built up in the land of Kennedy. (Hopefully, he will see the initiative win and die from the humiliation.)
If it can happen in Massachusetts it can happen anywhere!
It could even be the precursor of great interest in the Tax Free Society.
Here is a WSJ article on this new Boston Tea Party.

Government Gone Wild In Cambodia:
“Like tens of thousands of people around the country, those living here are victims of what experts say has become the most serious human rights abuse in the country: land seizures that lead to evictions and homelessness.
“Expropriation of the land of Cambodia’s poor is reaching a disastrous level,” Basil Fernando, executive director of the Asian Human Rights Commission in Hong Kong, a private monitoring group, said in December. “The courts are politicized and corrupt, and impunity for human rights violators remains the norm.”

“We’ve been visited,” claims a former NASA astronaut, Dr. Edgar Mitchell.
What are the odds that aliens don’t want us to know about their existence because they prefer not to be taxed?
Any civilization that is so technologically advanced, indeed, any civilization that claims to be intelligent, would certainly eliminate taxation.
